Before After Dark existed, my parents had already built a fashion legacy without hashtags, hype, or middlemen.
Back in the day, my dad started an export business. My mom joined him not long after.
Together, they supplied womenswear to over 80 international chain stores across the UK, USA, Canada, Europe and the Nordics.
No agencies.
No reps.
Just direct relationships with buyers, built on trust, consistency, and craftsmanship.
She didn’t “collab with brands.”
She designed their entire collections.
So when people ask us why should we buy from you? We say buy from a family that’s been designing the world’s finest nightdresses since the ’80s.
...In 1988, my parents exported their 1st cotton nightwear shipment to De Bijenkorf in Amsterdam.

Years later, when I was building something of my own, the name came back to me like a sign.
After Dark isn’t just a name, it’s my family’s story, all stitched up.
Decades of samples, sketches, patterns, all built by hand, by heart.
The kind of fashion that didn’t chase virality, but outlived trends.
In fact, 80% of what we still sell today comes from those very archives or a variation of something my mum created 25 years ago.
They’re not basic. They’re not fast.
They’re evergreen.
And they’re selling, year after year because real design doesn’t need a rebrand.
It just needs someone to respect where it came from.
