Exchanges & Returns Policy

Returning an item couldn’t be easier. Try your purchases on in the comfort of your own home and if you need to send them back, you have 5 days from the date you received your order to exchange or return. We will collect from your home, work or an alternative address for free. However, If 5 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we won't be able to assist you further.

Please make sure your items are returned new, unused and with all AFTER DARK garment tags still attached. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to you.

RETURNING YOUR PURCHASE

Should you need to return your purchase, you have 5 days from purchasing your order to arrange your exchange or return, book your complimentary collection and send your items back to us.

Please follow the steps below to return your purchase.

Write to us at customercare@afterdark.co.in with the following specifications;

1. Subject line: Order Id & Name of Product to be returned

2. State the reason for return; additional feedback will be much appreciated!

 

That’s it! Lay back and let us do the rest!

Store credit codes will be issued of the return value, once the garments are received back at our studio and have passed required quality checks. You can then place a fresh order using the store credit within 30 days/1 month of receiving this code. 

 Note* : There are no charges associated with returns.

We prefer that items are returned to us via our own service so that they are protected and insured. Your package will be picked up by our logistics partner. Please do not send your purchase back to After Dark yourself. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We charge a base shipping charge of Rs 5000 for all international orders. There may be additional charges to this base charge depending on the size/weight/value of order and delivery country/zip code.

For customs clearance and any charges related to that, we advise you to check with your local authorities before placing the order.

All international orders are one time fulfilment orders. We do not accept exchanges or returns.

OUR POLICY

All items must be returned new, unused and with AFTER DARK tags still attached. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and sent back to the customer. We issue store credit for all orders if you like or you can opt for (up to 2) exchanges. Shipping/CoD charges, if applicable, are one time costs and are not refundable. 

 

Failed Deliveries

Undeliverable/undelivered orders are sent back to our warehouse along with the reason as stated by our shipping partner. This is confirmed with the customer after which the order is either cancelled or re-attempted for delivery.

Please note, we allow 1 repeat order/re-attempt for undelivered prepaid orders as well as for undelivered CoD orders.

Repeated Returns/Exchanges

We offer a flexible return policy to make your online shopping experience even easier. We do monitor the number of returns made by customers, and continued returns will be flagged and potentially refused at our discretion or lead to the closure of your AFTER DARK account.

All return orders are issued store credit codes of the return value. These codes can be used for a fresh order within 1 month/30 days of being issued.

Any charges for shipping & delivery are not refundable.

 Late Returns

Your purchase should be sent back to us within 5 days of receiving your order. Returns outside of this period shall not be accepted under any circumstance.

Store Credits/Discount Vouchers

All store credit vouchers/discount vouchers issued against items returned to After Dark as part of a previously placed order, are one time use vouchers. Any items purchased using (whether wholly or partially) such voucher codes, are not eligible for returns.

Clothing

Please take care while trying on items as all products must be returned in a new and unused condition with AFTER DARK tags still attached. 

Colors

We have made every effort to display the colours of our products that appear on www.AFTERDARK.CO.IN as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors, tablets and mobile devices vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of a colour will be completely accurate.

Sale/Clearance

Products purchased during a promotional/clearance SALE period/with a discount voucher cannot be returned/exchanged.*

Products marked as ‘Clearance’ cannot be returned or exchanged.

Products marked on sale/clearance may have slight differences or defects. We request you to please respect the effort put into our garments and appreciate the value offered at the sale price. 

WEDDING & TROUSSEAU SHOP RETURNS

In addition to our standard 5 day returns policy, we offer an extended Bridal Shop returns policy to make life easier for brides shopping with us. Orders placed from the website or bought at the store in Delhi can be returned only for alterations/exchanges for additional 5 days. Please reach out to the customer care team at the time of placing your order for assistance and so that the team is able to record your order as a bridal order. All products must be returned in a new and unused condition with AFTER DARK tags still attached.

This policy does not apply to custom orders.

CUSTOM ORDERS

We welcome creativity and encourage you to build your own sleepwear through custom orders for a minimum value of Rs 10,999/-. Custom orders are prepaid, nonreturnable and non-exchangeable. We allow 1 alteration per garment.

All personalised orders with initials, names etc are prepaid, nonreturnable and non-exchangeable.

 

We do monitor the number of returns/complaints/code of conduct of customers and reserve the right to flag accounts/orders at our discretion, leading to future orders being refused/auto-cancelled.
